If you’re planning a 2015 wedding, it’s time to start scoping out various vendors, venues, and other accoutrements. One great way to do this is by going to wedding shows and expos, and if you’re not the kind of girl who looks forward to the Super Bowl every year, Albuquerque’s Super Bride Sunday is perfect for you. The next showcase will be held on February 8, 2015 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m., at the Hotel Albuquerque.
As what is often touted as the premier bridal show in New Mexico, Super Bride Sunday offers brides-to-be a close-up look at a variety of local vendors and experts, plus fun games and activities that help brides plan for their big day.
What to Expect
All brides-to be that attend the show receive a “swag bag” full of gifts that showcase area vendors’ products as well as help the brides plan their weddings. There is also a fashion show that features the latest in bridal fashion, including bridal gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, flower girl dresses, Mother of the Bride outfits, grooms’ outfits, groomsmen attire, and ring bearer fashion. After the show, you’ll have a lot of inspiration for how to deck everyone out for your own wedding. The bridal show also hosts local wedding experts, showcasing New Mexican businesses that are in the wedding industry. As for the fun stuff, attendees can participate in the bridal cover contest, wherein one bride-to-be wins a professional photo shoot, complete with hair and makeup, modeling an elegant bridal gown. There is also a bridal party scavenger hunt, and a game called Daisy Dollars. Brides receive instructions on how to earn Daisy Dollars during the day, which can be used to bid on prizes for their big day during an auction.
